As used over the years by championships such as: BMW Compact Cup, MaX5, Civic Cup, M3 Cup and in open tyre series
The NS-2R is not the fastest tyre on the grid however it is one of the most consistent performers, a true endurance option
The NS-2R has achieved EU tyre labelling giving it MSA List 1B approval

- Using the latest tyre technology, the new NS-2R boasts massive performance for both road and track. Available in a growing size range from 13” up to 18”, the NS-2R is not a tyre to be overlooked by anybody looking for high-performance rubber. Available in two compounds Track (soft) and Street (medium) there is an NS-2R to suit everybody’s performance tyre needs.
- The NS-2R is the control tyre for race championships such as the English and Scottish Compact Cup, 330 Challenge, Tegiwa Civic Cup, M3 Cup and MaX5 championship, the NS-2R is proving very popular in the pits and amongst driving enthusiasts.
- Whilst most track tyres only have one thing in mind, the NS-2R hosts an array of talents, not only as a fast tyre but as a consistently fast tyre, lap after lap come rain or shine. The tread design also gives the driver the confidence to drive to and from a race meeting or track day in dry or often wet conditions without the need to change tyres at the event.
- TREADWEAR index:120 (track*), 180 (street*) and the new 100/80 (race*)
- All compounds are road legal with the exception of certain sizes
Optimum camber settings
between -1.0 to -3.0 degrees
HOT Pressure settings
<800kg 23 – 27.5psi
800-1000kg 24 – 32psi
1,000-1,400kg 27.5 – 37psi
1,400kg> 34 – 42psi
COLD Pressure settings
As above but use the highest stated figures by weight for your cold pressures. For example <800kg use 27.5 psi and work your way down after warm up laps.
Road Pressure settings
Use the car manufacturers’ guidelines.

When fitting, the yellow dot is the lightest part of the tyre so should be aligned with the valve stem on both aluminium and steel wheels to ensure that it is well balanced.
